JOSE MOLINA
José Molina was born in Madrid in 1965. At the age of eleven he began his education in various art schools, but his first impulses towards painting were evident from the age of four. At eighteen he began working in advertising and in the meantime completed his studies at the University of Fine Arts in Madrid. In José Molina's art, different worlds come to life, which the artist brings to light through drawings, paintings, sketches on paper and colored graphics. Black and white brings him closer to Goya and the Surrealism of Salvador Dalì, artists of reference for the development of his very personal post-surrealist style, very close to cinema. The artist is present in both the European and Asian international markets, through a cycle of personal exhibitions and fairs. The artist currently lives on Lake Como.
EXHIBITION MILESTONES
He presented his works in prestigious institutions: Milan’s Museum of Science and Technology and Civic Aquarium; Stelline Foundation and Mudima Foundation, Milan; Real Academia de España in Rome; Poldi Pezzoli Museum; Royal Palace of Caserta; The Civic Museum in Brixen; the Ducal Palace in Modena; Triennale Museum. In 2018 his works have been presented at the ABLE FINE ART gallery in New York and in Miami. He has a stable and strong presence in Asia. He now lives on the beautiful shores of Lake Como.
