They taught us to be strong. They taught us not to cry. Not to complain, to always say yes, never to doubt, to kill fear. To flee from darkness when doubt gripped us, and when we could not please our loved ones, our children. They taught us to do as the others did, even though there was no reason to do so. They taught us not to ask, not to know, to close our eyes, mouth and ears. They taught us not to confront our real problems, they taught not to confront death. Where are they now? Where are the teachers who taught us all this?
